Certainly, there's an alternative to that too, within their stable - the Sequoia. It is slightly bigger than the big LC (yes, surprising, don't you think!) but just as capable and with a choice of two V8 gas engines at a good price, great value too.
Then certainly, you get the popular names - the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, Ford Expedition. Firstly, the Escalade. It is the most costly of the lot, but provides the best amount of traditional luxury with it. Very capable in either situation - on and off road, it makes a strong statement for itself. The Suburban is undoubtedly, the biggest of the lot, with fantastic space and good towing capacity - it is a wise choice if you too often travel with family and a lot else in tow.
The Expedition not only is the smallest in size, but also has the smallest engine of the lot - that is stating something because even considering that it is, it's still an enormous V8 after all. And it isn't any less capable either. A test drive of each one must take care of all doubts and help with the comparison.
